(Please read this notice carefully and try to read all. I know it is long but it is needed!)
Dear Manoupoli Media customers,
Since it happens a lot that our streams get stolen we have to make a major update that changes that secures that stream hijackers/thieves cannot do this anymore.
This is in our both interests:
- Stream thieves don’t pay and therefore we have to pay for that bandwidth. If we would not do an update like this we would have to high up our prices to pay for all. Off course this would be very high, what means you would not buy from us anymore and we would have to go offline. With this update our prices can stay low and we have the money to pay for even more capability.
- Not only just for us this is an issue. Stream thieves and the customers that they scam use YOUR bandwidth, causing our servers to be slower and therefore with less quality. With this update only the people that are our real customers can use the streams.
The following products need to be updated:
(If you already have version 2.3 or you have extentionbox #1.1 you don’t need to update)
- Adult Edition Television 2.1
Just drag the television into the updater from your inventory while holding your Ctrl button down and you will get the new version.
- Adult Edition Television Networked Edition 2.1
Just drag the master television into the updater from your inventory while holding your Ctrl button down and you will get the new version.
You can keep the old slave televisions.
- Adult Edition Mega Screen 2.1
Just drag the Mega Screen into the updater from your inventory while holding your Ctrl button down and you will get the new version.
- Adult Channel Extentionbox #1
Just drag the extentionbox into the updater from your inventory while holding your Ctrl button down and you will get the new version.
- Super Moviebox 2.1
Just drag the Extentionbox into the updater from your inventory while holding your Ctrl button down and you will get the new version.
(Overall Notice: You can keep the boxes they were in or delete them. The updaters will not work on the boxes.)

As most people know by reading the store disclaimer single DVD’s are guaranteed to work for 4 weeks. Till know although people had them longer we have never put them offline. I am sorry to say with this update we have to. All original DVD buyers of the last 4 weeks will be manually updated by me or my staff.
I am sorry to say we will not update DVD buyers of more than 4 weeks ago.
More questions:
- What will happen now?:
We will start updating all single DVD buyers manually as soon as this message comes out.
From this moment on we will change to new urls and most of you need an update.
If you have no broadcasting but you can go to this site the new system is already up and you need to update.
- What does it mean when Manoupoli Media changes to the new system?:
All old not updated system will stop picking up our signal. If you get this notice after the update is done your not updated TV will not work anymore. Rest assure! Just go to our update center and update your system.
- Can I do update my system forever?:
No we will leave the update machines up for a certain time. We are not sure yet how long but at least for a few weeks. We will probably keep them up maximum 4 weeks. Before we take them away we will give out a notice to give everyone a final chance to update for a few hours or a day.
- I have a non adult Manoupoli Media TV. Do I have to update?:
No you don’t need an update. There is only an update needed for the systems stated above.
- Can I update my single DVD myself?:
No we will do this manually. Don’t expect you will get it immediately. We will try to do it in a few hours but if you didn’t get it within this time we will maximum take 24 hours from now. Till we finish all DVD
- I have a declined the updated DVD you have send me. Can you send it again?:
No, since the DVD’s are transfer we will only send them one time. This means PLEASE ACCEPT THEM!
If you declined by accident there is a good chance it is still in your inventory trash. In that case you can restore the item.
- Will you be available for IM support right now?:
Since we are updating all the DVD customers I will be on busy mode. Support can be asked through the mailboxes in the store.
- I have bought 1 one of your systems to be updated recently. Do I have to update?:
If you have version 2.1 you will have to update if you have version 2.3 you already have the newest one. No update is needed. Version 2.2 was not brought out. This was a crew only version, what means none of our customers can have this.
I do hope I have informed you all enough. For people not reading this we will hang an announcement in the stores, as well as teleport machines to go to our update center.
